3.5 Swap FPR Question

Fuel Pressure Regulator, for mimicking a returnless fuel system. I just got one of ebay for like $19, and of course has no instructions, but I think I might have figured it out, but to be sure, can you guys help verify the fuel locations on the pump at point A B and C:
Here is what I think
A-from filter
B-To tank
C-fuel damper

Also, what are these for:

Any help I'd really apreciATE very much, thanks!

A- Inlet
B- Outlet
C- Vacuum

The fittings bolt to the fuel rail in place of the original regulator. You can then run hoses from barb to barb and place the new regulator where ever you like.

Here is the pic of mine installed. I did not hook up the vacuum or C but if you look at the FSM vacuum diagram, it will tell you exactly where it goes....

Thanks! Your fuel rail is different than mine what year Maxima engine is that?
EDIT: looks like it's a 2004 fuel rail. I think I have the 2003.

So does the 2003 Maxima utilize a returnless fuel setup? I ask because it looks like the damper shoots the unused fuel back to the tank. I don't want to asume anything and then have lots of fuel dripping all over the place!

The 03 utilizes a returnless system. The only difference from yours to lets say mine (05) is the design of the fuel rail. The fuel rail on the 03 has two inlets where as mine has one inlet... Here is a somewhat helpful link

Good, so I will either plug one end or run fuel to both inlets. Since I'm only NA, probably no need to do the latter.
Thanks again deloa84, udaman!!

I noticed when I started my engine, the fuel went shooting out the other damper at point A, so does this mean this fuel rail HAS a return? I thought the 3.5 uses returnless fuel rail, and the fuel escaping has me thinking its return?
Can someone clarify?
