Problem with the Anti-theft system

Hi there,
my name is Max and I live in far germany. Our 2nd Car is a '96 Nissan MaximaQX with th VQ30-engine. It has done about now 135.000 miles. But a year ago, it started playing up. If you start the car, it runs about 4 seconds and then stalls. You can rev it as much as you want, no difference. Then it doesnt run anymore at all. If you then lock and unlock the doors again, it starts again, but runs only about 4 sec and so on....
Here's a video:
Both keys dont work.
If you disconnect the battery for about half an hour, everything is ok, but after a few starts it begins to play up again.
Sadly the Nissan-specialists dont really know this car or the problem, as its quite rar up here.

Maybe one of you knows the problem and the solution

Thank you very much and sorry for my bad english...
Max

i don't think it's the anti-thefy system; on 96's, iirc, the anti-theft is just a starter interupt (it's the 99's+ that have the immobolizer setup). maybe the canadian models are different though?

what codes are you getting from the cel?

Hi, and thanks.
Well the european model does have the immobilizer setup, NATS v.2.0 .
Sadly Im not able to read out the error memory, but the specialist we gave it to had. He said, it says that the engine control unit doesnt have a connection to the one from the Nats...
