I was wondering..are the 97-99 SE headlights the same as the GLE headlights?? At www.car-part.com, they came up as different parts?

Yes they are exactly the same headlight assembly, as long as they are from a 97-99 Maxima.

It could be their mistake. They might be showing pics of a 95-96 headlight assembly and saying that its a 97-99 assembly. The 97-99 are the clear outer cover with reflective inner surface. The 95-96 are a translucent outer cover that you can't even see inside of. I'd be willing to bet it's their mistake.

 

 

yeah - maxima's dont really make too many differences among the 3 different trims they sell. Only big time diff is the dash.
