eng codes and no start

ok so working on this car for a friend at work claims she put so much money in it and had stupid people working on it
soooo

95 maxima no start she claims to have gone thought a few starters
so i pulled that out.
took out the crankpos sensors cleaned and put back in they look like they have been replaced
i did see a code for a sensor and others but deleted codes before working on car but it wont start to make new codes
i get no spark and cant say its the crank pos or ref sensor just yet testing starter in a few

What kind of work has been done besides the starter?

No crank, or no start?
If it cranks over leave the starter alone. Clean both mating surfaces when reinstalling the starter.
Have you checked for spark, fuel and compression?

i am thinking fuel problem i got a filter and will see if that help and may have to rent a fuel presure test kit
or am i missing something that would make a car eat starters like that in a year or so

Turn engine over by hand and inspect the flywheel gear. Hard starts will kill the starter by overworking it.
Are you getting consistent spark? pull a coil and plug and reconnect laying on the valve cover.
