I recently bought a maxima, had it stolen 7 days later and just got it back, so I am looking for a few new parts one of them being tail lights, and I'd rather not re add stock ones, let me know if anyone is selling the white and red tail lights or smoked ones, or if you know where to get them for very cheap let me know. This is the wrong section for wtb (want to buy) threads... Also, most people dont sell their taillights unless they are parting out from a wreck or something. Honestly your best bet is to go on ebay or amazon and scoop um up there...

and ill smoke them as dark as you prefer and even buff them after for 25 bucks more.(because i spray with a gun and compressor, with dupont high quality clear and dupont black basecoat mixed in. not no rattlecan niteshades bullsheet)

i think theyd look sick depending on your cars color. if theyre juuuuust dark enough so that you cant really see the shape of the inside, then when the light up, should be a nice pattern.

did you not read what i said before? i can do them as light as you want. i can tint them jsut enough to bring out the ruby in the red and make them shiny and clean.

well those first ones are different from stock and atleast arent ugly *** altezzas.

heres an older pic of mine, i havent really taken a pics of other peoples **** ive done. but i wanted mine blacked out obviously. i adjust the amount of black in the clear and the amount of coats to achieve different looks.

I think there's a small chip in the corner from this accident but other than that they're fine. I'm just switching up to new tails.

 

sorry about that, i really wanted to see pics. thats a little darker than i'd like. i'm just thinking darker then stock, not blacked out. you got lighter colored lights than that?

Shoot me a PM when you get a chance. The chip is on the very outer lower corner of the driver side tail. Small chip, no water.

 

nah dude youre misunderstanding. those are MY lights, done the way I wanted them. which is to murder out my whole car. those have a good amount of black in them and multiple coats. with less black you can do 2 coats and itll only barely darken up the taillight. but itll make the colors pop a lot better.

and these are pics with the taillights on, not brake lights or leds, just stock taillights, to give you an idea of transparency when doing it this way. also when the sun or other light source touches them they look a LOT less dark.

 

any examples of different shades? i'd love a set if they're the right shade. on your car they look good, if i get chris's david l's maybe you can darken them for me.

 

Red/smoked David L's would look sick. I thought about doing that a few times when I had my gunmetal Volks.

i dont have any pics because every time ive done them the person was in such a rush it was just like doin them bake them and then install so they could bounce. but if you think about it the possibilities are limitless. i can add very small amount of black to the point where 3 coats doesnt make it look black at all its just really deep ruby and shiny as hell. so we can figure it out.

 

and the answer to this is no. because cops around here have given me verbal warnings about my lights. and i dont plan on changing anytime soon, but i figured id leave the bright led bar untinted for driving folk and safety reasons.
