stumble on aceeleration-knock sensor code current

Hey everybody my 96 SE with 320k has had a stumble on accleration
for a month or so I havent been able to figure out. I have a P0325 now
for the knock sensor and i can see the housing is cracked. Just wondering what to check. Thinking maybe plugged cat or egr tube clogged. Idle fluctuates a little and use to die when coming to a stop, seems like a misfire while idling a put put noise from exhaust but no flashing CEL, replaced maf with used one due to soldering points breaking on last maf, just changed plugs and the old plugs were not fuel soaked so possibly coils and injectors are functiong( used an efi quick probe on the injectors
minus the one under the intake in the center). Just lost at where to start
thanks for any help

Ever changed your coils? They are probably malfunctioning and close to dying completely. Ever cleaned your IACV? Usually a knock sensor code means something else but if you can see it is cracked then replace it. 320k is alot of miles so I would replace all of your coils if you have the money or do 1 every 2 weeks or so. You should probably start using Marvel mystery oil or Tc-w3 2 stroke oil in your gas as well. Helps an old engine

if your knock sensor is cracked, you're going to need a new one. here's a link to my classifieds ad where i'm passing along a deal i got on genuine nissan knock sensors shipped for $35.00 to the org and it's members. read the ad for the details and to see the reviews from other org members who have already gotten theirs. thanks and good luck.

The knock sensors are known to go bad on these cars but I dont think that's your problem. I would check the coils first. Try and find someone with an extra coil and swap it around to see if that fixes your problem. Try and get to that last injector and make sure its working right also. Have you replaced your o2 sensors recently?
I had a similar problem one time and it ended up being a bad injector.

good luck
