Long story short i bought a hid kit from a store. i asked if it was legal and if the lighting was bleeding too much. i was told it was legal and that they were just bright. i want to get proper headlight fixture and was thinking the best and easiest way would use a 5th or 6th gen headlight unit and just put my hid kit in there/adjust lighting for hight and not have to worry about bleeding. Is this a viable solution? if not what is the cheap man way around this solution.

tyvm

if youre asking what i think youre asking(hard to tell), then what you want to do is get a pair of j30 headlights, and do a retrofit with their projectors. theres a bajillion threads on it. you cant just use another gens headlights. our bumper, support, hood, other lights, pretty much whole front end, will be in your way.

to make things short you cant just put any car parts on any car.

im a noob so i was under the impression that i could use a newer model part and hopefully it would fit for an older model.

basically i want to swap out/mod original lights
it so that it has that circle eye/orb in this picture
i want to do this as i feel the light from my car does not project low enough and thus blinding drivers ect
edit-found some guides.
ty
