95 O2 Sensor Easily Replacable??

First off, I'd like to say W'SUP to everyone out there! I am a newbie.

Secondly, I have a prob!!
I have a 95 Maxima with about 86K miles on my beauty and the check engine light came on. I've had to replace 2 O2 sensors since I've had my car and I was guessing it was another O2 sensor this time! But a few days later, the light went off and I thought nothing of it. Then just recently it came back on and I had checked the ECM and found out it really is the O2 sensor. I saw in an earlier post that it was easy to replace. Does anyone know how to replace these easily? I got estimates from different shops and they all range about $300-$400. I'm guessing this is too much?!?! Where can I get cheap 02 sensors? HELP!

Yes it is expensive. Look for the thread or do a search on O2 sensors. It is laid out on how to do it. A sensor itself is about $100.00 and you should be able to get it at any autoparts store. Not difficult to do if it isn't rusted on too much. Use lots of rust penetrator. Good Luck.

Very easy to replace >>>>>

my 95 SE had 2 O2 sensors, one on the left and one on the right. They are plugged in at the top of the engine bay. Drive your car up some ramps, unplug the battery, let the car cool, unplug the bad O2 sensor at the plug in the engine bay, unscrew the bad O2 sensor with an adjustable wrench. Screw the new O2 sensor in make sure it has anti-seize grease, plug the new O2 sensor in. Connect the battery, start the car, everything should be good. This whole process took me about 1 hour, most of the time was waiting for the car to cool down. Get the original O2 sensor from Nissan, my opinion better than the ones you get from the autoparts store and have to splice in using the old plug. Good Luck !!!!!!!
