Tail light issue! Please help

So my black altezza tail lamps i just bought look great. The problem is, when i drive at night, there are no lights in the back. Only when i brake and use turn signals etc. someone please tell me why these arent working. As soon as i finished it almost got me a ticket. Had to drive home with my hazard lights on -_- also, this is a 95 model GLE

We're they pnp or did you have to wire them?

Check bulbs, connections and grounds. Also make sure you didn't blow the fuse when you installed them. Check your front marker lights, if they are also off, the fuse is blown.
