cam broken

So,I'm in the middle of doing my 3.5 swap. And right as I pull the cams to install them I notice, one of them is bent and cracked at the end that goes into the VTC.they are JWT cams that came with the motor so I have no proof of purchase.

Can these be repaired or am I SOL?

Pix would be nice .....

Not understanding, are you building a 3.5 or just swapping or what? I'd say if the cam is cracked, you might be able to take it to a machine shop and see what they can do, but chances are it's toast.

if the cam is bent you will most likely need a new head unless the macine shop you go to knows how to work miracles but with an ohc setup it is very hard to get the cam journals perfectly straight again

I called JWT yesterday they sound like they are set up to handle situations like this. I'm gonna send them the bad cam and pay for a new one
