Just an FYI
I have seen many people say that sea foaming through the break booster is the best way to do it.
I went that route last week, while cleaning I
My IACV today, I noticed there was so much gunk in the upper manifolds still. So I put the IACV back one, then got a can of deep creep. I then sprayed most of a can into the TB while reving this engine. I did through a code because I was running withought my maf sensor. But after resetting the code it did not come back. I noticed a huge differance in acceleration. I just want to make sure people know that this is an option, and that seafoaming through the brake booster will not clean your manifolds as well as one would think. Just make sure you have the capability of clearing codes. I will remove the IACV tomorrow and see the difference in how it looks. But the way it drives is noticeably better then when all I did was feed it through the brake booster.

It would be nice if you all could provide pics even a video on how it works. I think most can understand what you're trying to explain by a video or even pics. But i'm glad it worked for you

Seafoaming thru the break booster hose cleans the carbon build-up in the chambers. It won't clean much carbon in air intake system.

To give your air intake system a thorough cleaning then follow this how to

Yes, some pics would be nice so no mistakes are made into how it was done. I know where the IACV is, but want to make sure it's feed into the right funnel/vacumm.

thanks

I think your all missing the point... He removed the intake assembly and Disconnected the MAF, than proceeded to spray Deep Creep straight down into the TB before and during engine operation. I've seen it done, even on my vehicle once before I was competent. He's right, it does work well.

I have read multiple threads saying it is a bad idea. I'm not going to reread through ever seafoam thread to find the comments.
Edit: my bad, you weren't talking about OP

I removed hose to IACV from airbox and added 2oz until car died, let it sit 10 minutes, started and let it run until smoke stopped, repeated. Then I added 12oz to full tank of gas. Next day made several WOT redline runs and it suddenly litterly "woke up". 100% improvement in throttle response and big improvement to acceleration. I was blown away by improvement and now a huge Seafoam fan. I had used it before in boats for winterizing, but never realized what it could do for car engines, I know now,

FYI, the one thing I was advised was be careful not to add to much at once directly to engine as it could cause hydrolock aka bent rod!
Thanks forum for recommending this product.
