Maxima QX vq30de piggyback

Hello everyone! This my first post on this forum
I'm from Poland and I'm happy Maxima QX VQ30DE (p.y. 1997) owner for one year.

I want to get some more PS in my engine so i was bought a couple of stuff like exhaust manifold with y-pipes etc.It has stock MEVI intake manifold so one less thing to do. To correct afr I use Polish piggyback named ecumaster (really great thing ) but it can't (and never will) modify ignition timing in this engine.
I know that the e-manage can modify it but is expensive and have less functions than ecumaster. I want to ask: what a piggybacks (except e-manage) can modify ignition timing in VQ30DE? SMT6/7 maybe?

Cheers

I believe aem has a fuel and ignition controller for about 500. You should check put megaszalony on YouTube he's from Poland and he's running something other than emanage. His maxima is really fast I'll post a link here when I'm not on mobile

Keep in mind that because your car has the MEVI stock, then it means your ECU is different from the American Maxima CPU because your ECU controls the MEVI. Double check the pin-outs to make sure they match up. Given that the 2000-2001 USA Maxima has the "MEVI" or 00VI built-in so to speak, you should compare your ECU pin-outs to that one as well.

the maxima qx from 97 has a similar ecu to ours

it is obd1 IIRC

you can use a SMT but they are not easy to get started

use an emanage for timing

a Nistune board will likely work for you as well (that is the route i would try)
