Maxima 97 GLE Stock vs. Early 90's Acura Integra LS auto and 5spd

i have a few friends that have an integra ls. one guy has a very early integra ls i think it's before 94. Stock he hit 15.6 stock 5spd. now he has added a catback, headers, intake. What do i need to take him? i also have a friend with a 94 ls auto greddy catback, aem cai, msd ignition, headers. All cars are lowered. auto has stock hubs and 5spd has new rims. i have beat the auto everytime after he got the ignition i haven't been able to race him yet. How much quicker is he (auto)?

He shoulda swapped for the B18C1, or C5, or an h22, but yeah, u should take em all, the ls running a 15.6 will be hard though. The gsr's of the same year hit ~ that in the quarter, but maybe hees a good driver.

Could a good driver really make up the difference between an LS and GSR?

Only if the LS is modded and the GSR is stock (assuming years 94 - 01 and 5-speed). The B18b (LS) had more stock torque than the GSR engine. A popular, albeit expensive mod was to install a Jackson Racing SC in the B18b, especially if this was transplanted into a Civic.
