what is needed for "basic tune-up"?

So when I got the maxima the guy said it would need plugs. Which I believe it does, because when you push the gas pedal about halfway down it sputters and misses. This is the first coil on plug car I've owned and I was wondering what all is needed to do a basic tune up. The altima was easy just plugs, wires, cap, and rotor. Also could the sputtering issue be caused by the TPS?

Plugs fuel and air filter. You could have bad coils also.
