idling a tad high?

Seems like my 99SE is idling pretty high, closer to the 1k range, and 2200 when cold.

Is there a **** to adjust this or something?

Not really. The ECU controls the idle speed. What you may need to do is clean your throttle body and throttle plate. The follow the procedure in the FSM for checking and adjusting the throttle position sensor followed by the procedure for adjusting the throttle.

If you don't have a FSM, download it from here:

You can do it while it's still attached, just don't spray directly into the engine and don't let it leak down into the engine. In my experience, I found it's best to spray the rag itself and use the rag to wipe the throttle plate rather than spray directly on the throttle plate.

After cleaning the throttle body and IAC valve do a complete idle speed adjustment. After its all clean, I guarantee your idle speed will increase even more.

Warm up the engine completely, cooling fans cycle once.
Make sure the fast idle plunger and cam assembly is working correctly and not holding the throttle plate open. It's down on the lower left of the throttle body.
Turn the ignition off and disconnect the TPS.
Restart the engine and adjust the default throttle body set screw (down on the left side of the TB) to get an idle speed of around 600 rpm with no accessories on.
Turn off the ignition and reconnect the TPS.
Restart the engine, make sure the idle speed is correct, if not adjust by turning the adjustment screw on the IAC valve to get an idle speed of about 650- 700 rpm.
