rear koni shock help

rear koni shock help

On the rear shocks there there is a metal ring that comes with the spring perch. Were does this go?

It barely slides over the strut body and rests on the notch of the strut. The GCs for Konis have this notch machined out that sits on top of this ring.

That ring is all you need. You don't need those spring perches that Koni supplied. The rear GC collars have a groove machined out of the bottom and that rests snugly on the ring.

Are you using a ground control setup?

A circlip sits in one of the 2 grooves in the strut body. The ring sits on the circlip. The spring perch sits on the ring.

I can imagain the Konis didn't come with instructions?

No, not at this time. Maybe in the future. Running them with H&Rs.

They did, but they are a little difficult to understand.
