P0440 & P1220 related?

I have a 97 with codes P0440 evap and P1220 fpcm showing up. Could they be related? I have read several posts on the fpcm code but never found what anybody did to fix it? The ECU in the car is the one that came in it. Any help would be wonderfull.

I have looked in two FSM that I have and I am not seeing P1220. P0440 is showing that you have a small leak in your EVAP system which may be as simple as a gas cap not sealing properly. What is P1220?

From what I have searched and what you told me, they are not related. The P1220 sounds like the FPCM needs to be replaced but no one opt to change because it does not affect overall function of the car.
