Big trip. Advice needed

I am looking to do a trip to Florida It's going to be 11000 miles One way. My 98 Maxima has 212,000 miles on it as of right now and very well-maintained. Should I trusted to take me down there and back? It will be all highway driving and the tires are good everything else is good on the vehicle seems great. What do you think?

Thanks

You'll be alright...1,100 miles tho not 11,000. Why not rent a car?

you'll be alright. Change your oil, and if your coolant is old then change it out too.

Ive personally done it once from NY to NJ and had a tire pop on me, so if I ever do it again Im gonna take a full sized spare with me.

just do small maintance things, like plugs and filters before you leave if you havent already. It cant hurt and all it can do it free up some lost hp and help increase mpgs there and back Good luck

I'd be more worried about the crazy drivers you will encounter on the way down there...

You'll be fine, I do this trip about twice a year. Just do some standard maintance, air filter if it hasnt been changed in a while, same as fuel filter. Changing these will probably give you better gas mileage for the drive.
