Back up/ reverse neutral switch installation help (Manual Trans)

I am getting ready to replace my back up light switch as I will be doing cv axles at the same time and figure I might as well only lose my tranny fluid once. Anyway, I have been searching like crazy trying to figure out how the little white rocker switch is installed. The main unit with the contacts and wire coming off it seems pretty straight forward, but does the little white switch just sit in there somehow?

Here are a couple threads I read through that didn't help much:
http://forums.maxima.org/4th-generat...rans-help.html
http://forums.maxima.org/4th-generat...anny-help.html

And here is a picture of the part I am talking about (little white rocker switch at the bottom of the picture):

Thanks!

the white rocker switch actually sits in the hole where the reverse switch sits. When you remove the original one, you will see it. Basically the reverse switch will butt up against it.

Ok, thanks for the help!
So the little white rocker switch isn't just gonna fall out when I remove the main part of the switch is it? That's what I'm afraid of since that would leave me with no idea how the new one is installed

It might fall out but trust me you won't be confused as to where it goes. There is only one visible place. There are two little pegs on the rocker switch and you will clearly see the corresponding wholes right away, pretty much the only thing you can see since it sticks out slightly.

Edit: holy crap that is the cleanest transmission I've ever seen! Is it brand new?

I did to replace shot bearings. It's a PITA for someone without a real shop to work in with lots of nice tools, but as a diyer it is doable oh and I noticed the straight cut third and fourth gear. How loud is that thing?

it's moderately loud, definitely noticeable but when i'm WOT my loud 3" exhaust drowns it out (inside the car at least, I'm told that outside the car it sounds like i have a roots style supercharger on it). when i'm off the throttle decelerating in gear is when it's most noticeable inside the car. 3rd is a bit quieter than 4th.

it's a little louder than the gears in this video, but his car is quieter so you can hear his pretty clearly (this is a 350z trans i built for my best friend with gears i prototype tested for PAR, this was the first set of these gears in existence)
