Dealer suggested maintenance?

1995 Maxima SE, 146,000 miles. 46,000 in just the last 17 months.

After getting the oil changed, the dealer "recommended" the following.

Coolant and engine flush $120.00
Brake fluid service $99.95
Power steering fluid service $99.95
"Tune up". I was told this is simply changing the plugs and "resetting the computer". No total price yet.
Banjo fittings into the transmission are leaking - needs new gaskets, but they replace the whole fitting $69.95

My father owned this car before handed it off to me and passed away the next day. He kept up on all periodic maintenance either at mileage or date as needed. When I got the car 46k ago (90% highway miles) all the fluids checked out. They still/smell darn good to me.

Should I bite the bullet and have this stuff done?

Thanks guys!

I wish. All the good local shops charge the same as the dealers.

Mostly, I'm just wondering if I should get the work done vs. am I getting a good price.

well if you are planning on driving the car a lot... (many miles in a short period of time) I would suggest flushing fluids... its always a nice "feature" to have fresh blood in the car...
Some of the things you can pretty much do yourself, I would recommend using high quality fluids...

That is hard to believe that all shops will charge as much ad the dealer.
Like stated above if you drive the car that much you should change the fluids.

Saerch for post regarding these fluid changes. They are all easy DIY and the PS uses less than 2 quarts of cheap ATF.
