problems with stumbling after car warms up

i have looked and searched, but found nothing that pertains to my specific issue at hand.
car is a 96 5 speed. start it up in the mornings, and it flys!. smooth shifting, smooth power. once car is driven for about 15 minutes, the car wi9ll start to buck as i try to accelerate. the higher the gear i am in, the more it does this. if i am cruising at a steady speed, or light throttle, it is fine. but if i start to go up a hill, and have to give it say more than 1/2 throttle, it actually bogs down until i let off the gas enough not to bog. problem is, i lose all my speed to get up the hill, and have to down shift.

i have only had the car a few days. i bought it for 600.00 with bad wheel bearing. replaced that along with the hub, and was hoping to have a d.d
any insight guys?

Do you have a Check Engine Light on? Has it ever flashed at you when the car bogs down? I've had a very similar issue with a defective ignition coil

it has never flashed while driving.

however, it was scanned, and it has had 6 codes....po325,po301,po136,p1400,p1320 . they were all cleared by previous owner , and have not come on with the last 300 miles i have put on it in 3 days

also, with the 301, i switched that coil to cylinder 3 and light has not come back on, nor showed up in my scanner

i also noticed after a 200 mile trip today that the stumbling is a intermitant thing. if ihold the throttle steady for awhile, and floor it, it picks up fine, but if i work the throttle and then try to floor it, it just stumbles and grunts

Thanks I am having the same problem but with power loss and check engine light bilking. I guess its time to buy a new ignition coil . Also lol at the plast-dip quote.

Had that problem. Sometimes the car would **** down completely. Change the Maf! Cash out and get one at the dealer. I bought one from napa auto parts and it gave out in a couple months. Good luck.

Same issue

Does anyone have a real fix? If it was the maf then it would affect it when it's cold. Mine only does it when it has been driving for awhile.

It's most likely an ignition coil. When they start to fail, they show signs when their hit or under a load. As the coil gets hot the spark gets weaker and can't ignite the fuel when you get into the throttle. Inspect all the coils, pull the stalk off and look at the connection point where the spring contacts the actual coil. If you see corrosion, clean it throughly or consider replacing the coil.
