The Max is totaled (attached pics)

I got into an accident on Friday and my 99 max is pretty much totaled.. these cars aren't worth much anymore so i'm pretty sure there going to total it... Some person hit me and I hit the person in front of me...the front end: the hood and hood latch are gone. Radiator might be (not sure). Left headlight. Bumper scratches, and grill popped off...

Back end: Scratches/dented and spoiler came off...

Looks like in the front you'll need a hood, grille, new headlight. Should be fairly cheap.

As for the back find a trunk lid in the junkyard. The car doesn't look that bad and the repairs shouldn't set you back much.
Its easy to swap pretty much everything. Now if the frame was bent, which it doesn't look like it then I wouldn't do anything to it. Take it to an autobody shop and see if they tell you its worth it to fix it.

Oh and OP where are you located ?

Yes it is an SE. How much do you guys think it'll cost to repair? I'm hoping for a check from the insurance..then fix it up and then sell it... the engine and transmission are really good. I had the ball joins/brakes/tired everything just recently done in the last yr. But the car is only worth ~3500....

the pics are too big with too little detail to tell if the QPs are wrecked, and to see if thats a dent in the fender, or a buckle. but from what i can see, not totaled, if you fix it yourself. send it to a shop, and it might cost ~1500-2000. on your own can probably be done for ~800.

Not sure what state you are in, but assuming you are not at fault, I believe you will have the option of just handing the car over to the insurance company, or buying it back and fixing it yourself. It will all depend on how much money they are going to give you for each option as to what you decide to do.

I am relatively confident they are going to total that. With parts and labor that is way more than 2 grand of damage. If they don't total it, I would definitely try to get your own insurance company to do an appraisal of the damage. That looks like quite a bit to fix.

my car was worse then that and i got it fixed for 2250.00 painted and out the door. that's fixable as other op have stated, might get lucky and find a max the same color and it'll just be labor to put them on. you can always talk the jy down and say its an old car and you are trying to fix it till you get ins. money for a new car.

Really? Mine says 3200 at excellent. Idk i may have missed out on something. my car has 120k miles and i better be getting close to 4 because I put so much $$$ into it... I paid 3800 when I got it and it had 90k miles.

Do you guys know how much the car is worth with 120k miles, 99 max, SE, fully loaded etc... with an intake upgraded suspension new ball joins and axles and brakes

none of that extra stuff matters when selling it. gotta just base it off the miles, year, options, and condition.

last time i checked, and mine is in pretty damn good condition, it bluebooked closer to 4 gs. fresh paint job on mine tho.

sorry about the accident what a loss, this can be fixed. The car kbb value with 120k will come out at about 3 high to 4 high. The mileage is still considered to be low than what the expected mileages should be. Fix it and keep it hopefully no frame damage.
