I have a 97' with the P0420 (catalyst below threshold bank 1) showing up. All I know it is related to the converters. My front exhaust tube or flex pipe whatever you want to call it is looking pretty rough and could be leaking could this be my problem?

 

possibly.

Get a warpspeed y pipe for 200 bucks and call it a day. Both precats deleted, no problems.

id say cash the cats in and get you a nice ypipe. gap the rear o2 and thats that.
