Walker resonator broke in only 2 yrs.

I had Midas install the two walker pieces from the cat back 2 yrs. ago, and it already completely rusted and separated. Amazing how shoddy that stuff is--the original lasted like 11 yrs....

Only got 2 years out of the Walker setup I installed too. They had two lines, the economy crap and full Stainless. We both got the economy crap... I've since put a Bossil(sp?) setup in.

The shame of it is Walker has a lifetime warranty. If you punch in your zip code on their website, and call around, NONE of the retailers will honor it. What a bizarre world that is.....I was used to having a lifetime warranty on something, calling rockauto, and getting a replacement UPS'd in a couple days. Not so with this Walker exhaust. Had I had purchased it from rockauto I'm sure it would have been fine.

I think you've pointed out it was never intended to last, which is good for the exhaust shops as they will resell a $60 part for $280, and charge the labor to do it again....

Don't imagine Rock Auto would do any better if Walker doesn't honor the warranty.
