Evaporator cleaning - getting access to spray?

I need to clean my evaporator.

Is there any better access than trying to get in through the resistor opening?

I also need to pull the console/radio out. Is there a panel or something I could pull that would give me better access while I have it out? I don't want to pull the entire dash and the evaporator, but if I can get into the box, that would be nice.

Thanks,

Thanks Fakie, but as I mentioned, I don't want to pull the evaporator. I've learned to leave the A/C alone when it's working well :-).

Can I pull the blower motor out reasonably easily, and would I get a nice attack zone that way?

Or, can I pull one of those panels on the Evap unit and get in there with it still installed?
