poorman's grill done and engine cover painted

Finally.. I did the poorman's grill for the bottom grill thing.
yea, the one Redmax did.
looks pretty nice.
I took the engine cover off and painted red.
my friends said it takes a day or so to dry it then clear coat it..
but when I waited 2 hours, it was dry, so i put the clear coat on right after...
they started yelling at me for it... saying it's going to mess up and stuff
is it true?

YES!!!!!!! - well.....its not going to come out that bad......but paint takes atleast 12 hours to settle fully......it will appear dry after a few hours.......but dont be a victim......actually - u already are a victim.......if your satisfied with the job, then i guess its ok, otherwise grab a sander or sum paint thinner?

the poor man's grille is made with sum mesh/net type of material that you can buy from your local hardware store........... you have the cut out the mesh by yourself and it can get a bit trivial.... but overall it is much cheaper than spending like 100-200 bucks for a grille. IT can be as cheap as like 10 bucks

I have a similiar setup and it looks great. Take some more mesh and cut out some small strips to go to the left and right of the license plate holder. Looks ever better.
