Starting problems

So for the past 2 months my car hasn't been starting regularly, and it started first when it was cold and now it never starts, but no click no sounds, and all lights turn on, car beeps, andradio turns ion but car doesn't crank. I checked battery, alternator, and starter and they are good but car does not start when turning it on with the key, and only when I bypass the ignition. any suggestions?

Ignore this post.

Does it crank over and not start, or no crank at all?
Manual or auto?
There are many things it could be. Give us the particulars of your car and we'll try to help.

Or don't give us info and we'll say and you.

Try to wiggle key...if it cranks then it ignition switch. About 30 bucks and 20 minute install. Try pushing shifter into park further when turning key...if it cranks then its neutral switch. If starter is older and you have been cranking the **** out of it lately.....change starter or at least get it tested.

Thanks for the help guys, I tried wiggling the key and pushing it downward as I twist the key and car turns on fine. Looks like it is the ignition switch, but I will change it and report back. I
