Hey guys,
My rocker panels are pretty rusted out. Would it make any sense to replace them will aftermarket rocket panels such as Stillen's kind?

I saw these and I figured they might not be that expensive if they can buy my car a couple more years of life:

Your gonna just hold moisture/leaves/roadkill up against your rotting rockers and in a few years that rot will spread till there is nothing left but a bucket of rust shale.

At the very least do what I'm gonna do... grind away rust, POR-15 exposed areas, fiberglass in a surface, bondo, paint, etc. (cheap and half-assed I kno, but I'm poor and don't have a welder)

 

i bought this to deal with the rust in my passenger side rear quarter,

it cleans and treats the rust and makes it solid as a rock so it does'nt come back.

yep, same thing I got. Just used it and fixed some rear quarter panel rust (my hands still reek of fiberglass lol)

 

as other have kinda said... the stillens arent rocker panels. side skirts aint the same thing. rocker panels are metal thats spotwelded to the frame.
