Since the remote fell off my key chain I've been using the key manually to enter the car.
Lately the lock has been "resisting" the turning of the key until today it just wouldn't budge. I can't unlock the drivers door to get in the car at all!

Anyone have this issue? or know what usually goes out in these things??

 

try some wd-40 in the key slot?
does it unlock with ease if you use the manual unlock from inside the car?

 

Nope .. it feels physically jammed at the key hole using the key AND inside flipping the switch. Took the panel off and trying to figure out whats up

Do the regulators go out often?

 

Conclusion.

Ripped the Door Apart and founs that the Door Lck Assembly was misbehaving

Changed it out and so far....so goood

 

mine's starting to do that...a little resistance when using the key.

But since I completed the keyless entry install I just use the fob now and it's all good
