The left side of the engine is the side towards the radiator. This is bank 2.
The right side of the engine is the side towards the firewall. This is bank 1.

The upstream sensor is close to where the y-pipe bolts to the exhaust manifold.
The downstream sensor is after the pre-cat or further away from the exhaust manifold.

a little more clarification lol

CORRECTION BANK2 SENSOR1 AND BANK 1 SENSOR 1

so is Bank 1 sensor 1 upstream RIGHT
and bank 2 sensor 1 downstream LEFT

just don't wanna spend money on returning wrong number

Stop Toking and pay attention to what he said...you'll notice the orientation of the drawing was reversed. So if you're looking AT THE ENGINE from the DRIVERS SIDE FRONT TIRE, Bank 1 is on the right (firewall) bank 2 is on the left (radiator)

if what you said in your "correction" is correct, you want both upstream sensors...sensor 1 is always UPSTREAM. So you want both sensors that are before the precats.
