Move steering wheel backwards??

OK, so I may have long legs and short arms, but I want to move my wheel closer to my chest, so I can put my seat back without having to stretch out my arms.
Back in the old days one was able to just put a boss on the column to move the wheel.
What about now??
Anyone know??
Anyone done it??

It's tough.
2002 Altima has a telescopic steering wheel (move a lever, and you can move the steering wheel towards/away from you).

I don't know what other cars have it. If you decide to transplant the Altima's, it'll cost you $$$ to get the part.

Then, you've got to worry about mounting. Then, you've got to worry about the wiring for the wiper, horn & lamps.

If you're going to use the Altima steering wheel, they've got a dual-stage airbag which won't work with the 4th gen. You'll definitely have to do some splicing / cutting and I won't mess with airbag circuits!!!

Too much work, not worth it. Suggest moving your seat forward.
