So I just installed my ws y-pipe on my I30,had straight pipe and qtp already and it sounded beastly, now with y-pipe its a beacon for cops!! if I put my converter back on should that tone it down a lil or should I relocate exh cutout to rear of car?? otherwise I just drive with cutout closed wich is a waste

I did expect it to get louder but now its just a lil above my sound threshold cuz sometimes I do stomp on it randomly and the five second delay on the cutout I would look stupid pausing before I stomp lol!! I have the wireless keychain opener, might go to toggle!!

 

in that case relocate and get a big Magnaflow resonator. They make some big ones that can tone it down

Put a resonator on there, and don't even expect a cut out to be anything near quiet/tolerable.
