Look out JWT POP CHARGER problem

I decided to take a look at my JWT pop yesterday and I noticed it was leaning downward and scraping the metal right below it. As I looked to see what happened,I realized the metal rod that holds it upright had fallen off the intake and the screw it was attached to was missing. I'm lucky I did not lose the rod. I went to Pep Boys and picked up a new scew and nut. I attached the rod back to the intake and used the nut to secure the other end of the rod to the screw that was used to ancor the rod to the fenderwell. It probably happened due to NYC roads. Everyone who has a silimar intake should take a look and make sure everything is tight.

Watch the potholes, thats all i can say for that. Looks like you hit one really really hard and that was the case.

Thats what his saying that piece fell off somehow and the intake was touching the car.

I just checked on mine today and the screw was a little loose. I tightened things up and everything is as good as new. I'm glad you mentioned it cause I dont want to have to pay for a new intake, cause I am already planning on getting a CAI, but not until summer. You might have saved me 100 dollars so thanks.

I dont see any reason for buying a new intake just becasue it was scratched from hitting the fender. good choice if your getting a CAI
