best touchup paint

ok....here is the problem.....some idiot crazy glued a ball of play-doh to my friends pathfinder. Her car is a very dark blue. What do you guys think he we should do??? The clay took off a huge chunk of paint in a circular shape about 3 inches in diameter. She really doesnt want to shell out 100+ to get the whole door painted again..... i'm just thinking about grabbing a can of touch up paint and some clear coat. Is there any particular brand that you guys are biased towards??? This pathfinder is about 6 years old, stock paint.

(ahahah - when i saw it i laughed - but when i saw the peeled paint...=[ )

Im gonna put in a good word for the Nissan Touch-Up paint. It works like a charm on my Deep Evergreen but Ive heard it's not as effective on lighter colored cars.

$6 at your local dealer.

do nice layers of paint.
paint, let it dry a bit
paint, let it dry, paint, let it dry
and when you think your thing looks sexy as ever, clear coat that thang several times.

I didn't get the tri-Color stuff. I just ordered Concord Mist, Primer and Cear Coat for plastics(Flex), all in spray cans.

Virus: I had the whole front end painted when I had my accident 2 years ago and the sills under the passenger doors when I had my jack points repaired 2 months ago. I wan the car to stay looking good.

95emeraldgxe:

I think it will take 3 or 4 cans to do it right but for the cost of the paint, you may be able to get it done at a shop for a little more. It depends. Shop around and then price the paint too.
