if you mean the clearance lights next to the headlights.

-pop your hood
-remove the philips head screw on the top near the corner of the headlight
-pull the light out. it comes out hard because there is a rivet-pop thing you have to pull off.

It is a lot easier if you take a flat head screwdriver and stick it down to where that rivet thing is. Just put it where it separates and give it a quick turn and the light comes right off. It also feels much better for the light than just tugging until it pops.

Thats the easiest way, mine just popped out with that trick.

Why do you guys take the lens out to change the bulbs? Just sneak your hand in there and give a twist. The socket pops down and out. Change the bulb and sneak it back up in there. I have pretty big hands, ahum... and I can get to it no problem.

Why remove the lens? Do it from the bottom

I agree with njmaxseltd, I use the same technique as reaching under the light and just twisting. You can even use a flat head screwdriver to push the tabs to get it to move.

Can the bulb (white) that is currently in there be changed to another color bulb, i.e. bright yellow like the ones on the Lexus? If so, what would the wattage be?

put a screwdriver back there with a towel and SNAP that gay click off!!!!!!! I was tired of messing with it EVERY time you want to change your light in there (my hands are way too big to fit in there without taking the lense off), then all that holds it on is that screw.. works great..

Yeah, I went by the dealership and the guys said the same thing..."theres a screw down there and you have to take out the headlight to get to it." but that don't make sense cuz you gotta take out the clearence lamps to get out the headlight housing, right?anyways, then they tried charging me 24 bucks per lamp to get them out for me, so I said f*** it and left. I'm still tryin to get mine out.

I finally got it. I tried that twisting the flat head thing and it worked nice. Before I was tryin to just pry it and it felt like it would break. Anyway, I'm not in So-Cal, but next year I'm movin to Central Cal!

I also used the twisting trick to get my clearance lights out. Then I did what thebigsadler and pop out that stupid plastic thing holding the rivet. It is way easy to take off now if you ever need to again. That's cool you gonna move to central ca. Where at? I think me and Nismo are the only org members here that are from the central valley. Hit either of us up if you have any questions.

Is the socket in the same place as where the power plugs in? I was wondering if I could get it out without removing it. It would be much easier.
