Automatic Transmission help

I've. Noticed a transmission leak and every thread on here is talking about manuals. I've had this thing for a week. It is not the pan or the driveshafts, it is leaving 2 dime sized dots. It appears to be coming from the bell housing. Does anyone have any advice on replacing this? It is definitely trans fluid.

our cars use trans fluid for the power steering...do you have a leak there?

How is it shifting? Have you had the trans serviced before?

Do not know the details on any previous service. The 1-2 can be felt a little bit but everything is crisp and smooth. The power steering works good and is full to the brim. But nothing related to the PS system should be by the bell housing?... just got this car. Not to familiar with them yet

Hmm. Interesting. I've never heard of the input shaft seal as a culprit. I thought the only places the autos leaked from we're the axles.

I'm not getting any noise from it. Replace seals, or time for R&R?

You would only get noise from an input shaft bearing. Which I believe is only 5mt. If it shifts fine I would replace the seals.

See if you can find a transmission safe seal conditioner and throw it in.

If this leak is coming from the housing, I would like to see a pic of it as this is something not common unless the housing cracked or your axle seals are damaged.
