My avg is 29mpg 8.2L/100km hwy/hwy combined over 30,000miles. 5spd 1995(se) 87octane and 0-40 oil. now with 200,250 miles on the clock. The best I have managed to squeeze out is 38.62mpg 6.09L/100km while on long downhill sections of highway with the car in neutral.

 

Wish I got that mileage

 

I know! I'm lucky to get 23mpg with some hybrid driving but mostly Highway. Anyone getting over 25mpg in these cars is already into the min max mode

 

I've been getting a constant 27 mpg with mine, but then I think of fuel economy as a game and drive as slow as I can to get the highest mpg possible

 

i've actually been seeing better mpg lately than i've ever seen. got 28.3mpg on my last fillup with 87 with about 50/50 city highway.

i think the highest i ever saw even when i drove 2500 miles across the continent a few years ago was like 29 all highway.

 

I've had multiple tanks average out at 29.7 last year with the 3.0.
I'm getting about 25-27 per tank with the 3.5.

The maxima was stolen. Then found mostly intact a couple cities over
(sterio amp speakers gone, abandoned in the rain with the windows down) Ill be interested to see the mileage the thieves got when it is returned to me by the insurance company.

 

Are you asking what gas mileage the thief got while joyriding?... Wow.
