Steering Trouble

I recently replaced tie rod ends, but my 95 maxima but my vehicle seems to sway or I lack total control could it be the sway bar links

After 18 years, the sway bar links have a 100% chance of being beyond worn out. Definitely replace them. But I don't think that will solve your problem. Swaying is more likely your struts being worn out.
