Yo, I'm finishing up my 6 speed swap into my 4th gen. I'm using a 4th gen 3.0 motor and electronics. The sticky on the swap says that the cps sensor needs to be relocated slightly when using a 3.5 RWD flywheel.

I am using a Fidanza 3.5 FWD flywheel. My trigger ring was machined from the 3.5 trigger ring that came with the fidanza. I'm about to bolt the flywheel on and when comparing the stock flywheel and trigger ring to the fidanza flywheel and trigger ring, there is not much difference in the two cps ring's positions relative to the cps sensor. There is only maybe 1 to 2 mm difference.

I don't know enough about the hall effect and the sensitivity of these sensors to know if this will pose a problem. Can anyone who knows comment please? Or provide a link. I've searched and read a lot of posts and it seems like a lot of people use the RWD flywheel, which isn't helpful. Thanks!!!

wanting to finish this....riding to work up and down the hills of the Ozarks may get old soon....
