Any Max Pros In South east Connecticut?

I tried to take my bose H\U out so i can resolder the resistors and make my display work again, i know everyone says just buy another H/U but I have more important things to do before i spend extra money on a H/U! I tried to remove the bose myself and since i believe i was the 1st to try taking it out it seemed very hard, i got to the point to where i had to take the vents out and it just didnt happen..its seems so hard and didnt wanna break anything so if any one could help me id really appreciate it ! i will be glad to throw someone a few bucks for helping me remove the unit ...i just didnt wanna break anything and it was looking like thats what was gonna happen if i kept trying..the old lady i bought the gle from never used the tape or cd player, she just listened to the radio so it still works perfect so far and im one who dont need the loudest system ...the bose is just fine for me i just need some help!! thanks all!

I already moved your other thread to the NE regional forum...no need for another one.
