Horrible Tranny Sound w/ video

Been having clutch problems for some time now. Finally got it working fine but now sometimes I hear a grinding noise while starting in 1st or going in reverse. I suspect the worse...

Starting yesterday, I would be driving and for a split second it seemed like the two drive wheels were almost fighting each other and my RPM's would plummet faster than if I had shut off the car while driving.

It's now parked, but this is the sound when I'm releasing the clutch. I have the ebrake on to simulate load. I was doing it in 1st and reverse.

Commence the wookie

Could be a bad input shaft bearing. A REALLY bad input shaft bearing. Does it make any kind of noise with the clutch engaged and in neutral? I would think it is that, or the differential has blown out some how. Only way I can think of to blow out a differential is drifting it around, power slides, and stuff like that.

I'm thinking something is wrong with the differential as well. I'm not sure how either, but I know I don't do drifts or power slides. I wouldn't go as far to say I've been nice to it in the past 50,000 miles but compared to my last Max that lasted well over 100,000; I've been nice.

I did have to drive it all the way through the state of Mississippi last December with no clutch, and a couple days since then when my clutch failed.

No, nothing out of the ordinary with clutch engaged in neutral.

If its only making noise while trying to move, I'd put my money on the diff. If the fluid wad really bad on that long trip, it could have ate away at the metal. And if thats the case, you may be looking at a completely new transmission for it, cause it would have eaten away at the gears, too. I just had to rebuild my transmission, and was lucky the gears and diff were ok, because the person who had it before me must have loved burnouts and racing...
