My best bet thus far when looking for stuff for the Maxima has been Ebay. They seem to have the lowest prices. Now is that the quality as well? I will find out soon when I order my intake.

those R34's on ebay will run around 100 bucks iirc.

Ebay has some good stuff at decent prices, just stay away from performance chips and the like

So there are no quality chips around huh? Too bad.

Now my question is, why doesn't my model have a short throw shifter? WTF?

You mean why does the 4th gen not have one? Just the way it is... For example...Why does the 4th gen have Subaru Outback stock wheel gap?

proud to still own this car for sure.
Now the bug is gonna start to bite ! Good decision. I'm assuming your cars body is in good condition. When you have the body, anything else can be done from there. I'm in the Northeast where the harsh winters is taking its toll on the undercarriage of my 99 Max. Its funny, I have a 97 Honda Prelude thats solid underneath from end to end but my Max, not so lucky. Still, its been the best and most reliable car I ever owned so I'm gladly dumping around $700 into it. When you look around at what $ 2500 or so buys ya these days, which isnt much, you're better off.

Maybe I'm wrong or blind and or both, but I can't find an actual short throw anywhere for my car, the 5.5.

But yea, that's weird though.
