I just checked, my rims are 15 x 16.5 jj what does that mean? can I go 215 series? Since stock SE rims are 16 x 16.5 & they can go 215 series does this mean I can too? safety? without the wheels falling off teh car?
I'm running 215/60-15 Bridgestone Potenza RE950 on my GXE steelies.
They kick a$$. They are a great tire for the stock size rims. Fairly quiet, but really sticky, and the wet traction is amazing...

A 215/60 and a 205/65 has the same diameter, rev/mile, etc. The 215/60 will handle better. It will also probably give you a somewhat harsher ride because it weighs more: higher unsprung weight=crappier ride. (I noticed the difference going from a Nissan 5.5x15 wheel with 205/65 to a Nissan 6x15 wheel with 215/60.)
