Sound is subjective, as is loud/not loud,, etc.

I was catless before I got a y-pipe so naturally I had an aftermarket muffler. When I added the y-pipe, it was too loud for my taste. So, I added a larger more robust muffler and resonator.

I'd say, either stock or 5th gen muffler with a y and test pipe, but, that's my opinion.

Yea...well my resonator is big as Hell. The only time it sounds a little loud is when the engine is cold

Not as big as mine ..

The 18"x 6" round wasn't cutting it in the sound suppression department, let alone the puny item that comes on the Cattman 5.5 gen 3" originally.

So, currently having a 30" x 6" round unit fabbed. Let's see how it goes.

Oh snap...i have the stock muffler too. Important thinking about getting the 5th gen muffler too
