Who has done the 5spd conversion on their car? i talked with cbr2 and am gonna get the parts and do this with my friend. I have a 96 maxima gle on which i just blew the tranny a week ago. It has abs. What i need to know is what I need to watch out for when doing this, or if there are any tips anyone could give me. Thanks. Anyone in the new york area do one? If so maybe you could help me, and I'll buy you ice cream sometime!

i know its been covered. I'm not looking for instructions, just maybe snags that people ran into that i could avoid or know how to deal with. i talked with cbr2 (stevie?) and he was helpful. i just wanna know if there is anything else i should watch for.

stevie is another guy who did it in TX using the instructions from my webpage.. so that shows they work I guess.
The thing runs awesome, just make sure and use a new clutch disc, and might as well get new hydrolic cylinders while your doing it.

It is AWESOME and worth every cent of doing it, and the pain and hassle too haha...

I rode in Steve's max and it's awesome.. I was suprised to how it felt just like a stock max. I was very skeptical at first, but now I'm really thinking of switching mine over too. Steve, where did u get all the parts from, and how much did it run you?
