Help needed 3.5 swap from maxima gurus
Ok my problem is i cant get the car to stay on and idle without holding the gas.
Know this is My setup 3.5 from an 07 max fully built Long block i Also went with return fuel with aftermarket rails,650 injectors running a supercharger walbro 400 ,pf tb.
I have tried the 4thgen idle control and the pf idle control and nothin,i had my tuner come by and try to adjust the fuel and he gets it goin But then after a minute the car scrambles so the fuel adjustment we made gets reseted by it self so know i went back to stock injectors and no blower and car doesnt idle just shuts off.this has been a mission i wasnt able to make it to the eastcoast máxima meet due to this problem.
So When i turn the car on fuel pressure is at 51 then in a minute or less pressure drops to 35 ,40 and catalyic converter gets fire red.

Im using EMU But know Im using stock ecu we adjust fuel With the emu And the stock ecu would reset itself back and it would scamble and turn off.so know im on stock ecu, injectors and no blower and fuel pressure drops to 40,35.Im must be having a system issue. And runing a return fuel system.

Be more specific, use spacing and proofread or spellcheck ffs.

I was running 650cc But know stock and wideband yes i have.i made some progress today i was leaking threw the intake maniflod so car stays on. But fuel pressure still drops to 35,40 and rough idle.

ok so i changed a bunch of sensors and nothin took away all the codes i have except evap purge control and car starts but stays on at 350 rpm but if i disconnect maf car idles at 800 to 1100 rpm and i know its not the maf cause i tired my buddys maf from a running car, also i cant control the idle with the 4th gen iacv and i changed the iacv AND NOTHIN,so
im running a 350z kinetix maniflod would i need a rpm switch i just followed up again on swap info and it says rpm switch could this be my problem also my afr is reading very rich 10 flat.

this is were im at know car stays on but rev limiter bounces from 600 to 1000 or stays down at 300 car does not stay stable and iacv does not control and running very rich 10 flat unless i give it gas afr goes up a little.
these are my codes 0443,0446,0325 the first two codes must be because havent connected the purge valve.
also when u give it gas car stutters and then revs or revs and then stutters at around 3 to 4000 rpm.

[QUOTE=Quickywd01;8849525][/QUO I got pics of the build but im missing the chapters of the engine progress and until know. due to my phone falling in the toilet. so i will take some pics later on,how sits know here are some pics that i have.

I would double check the fuel return system, make sure you have your lines connected right. If all is well I would check the injectors to make sure one isn't locked open, if that is good, check for vacuum leaks.

my fuel lines are good i will double check my vacuum lines but i dont think thats the problem.

Googling says turning the set screw counter clockwise will lower the fuel pressure on an AEM adj. FPR. (lower pressure = less fuel)
Did you install a fuel pressure gauge with the FPR? You should have one so you know you're not adjustnig too low or high.
Anywhere from 30-60 psi is fine just to get it started and idling ok, then mess with the EMU to get the fuel pressure around 45ish.

YES I Have all of that,i had the pressure at 51 and even lowered to 40 and same result.best thing would be to do a video of cold starts and then when it gets hot.
At cold starts car seems to run with rev limiter boucning from 600 t0 1000 and starts off with an afr of 15 to 14 but starts droping at about 20 seconds in,straight down to 10.When hot,rev limiter drops to about 300 and car dies and the injectors stay firing(u hear them clicking). After hot if,i disconnect the maf car runs a little smoother but afr never changes (10).

So i connected any vacuum line that was off including fuel regulater vacuum and connected boost gauge and gauge isnt reading any vacuum then drop fuel pressure down to about 20,engine sounds better but still runs afr of 10,when i drop fuel pressure.Car also struggles to rev.

You have an air leak on a gasket somewhere perhaps. That's how my car was when the egr was open on the manifold. But you mention the fire red cat which means way to much fuel is passing by and making it burn up. You're injectors are huge for your setup. Take a step back, think, read a little, and get back at it. Whoever is helping you is a great friend but you need some more knowledge to make this work. Read a little about fuel injector sizing, adjustable fuel pressure regulators, and then the emu will take care of it. This is what I did for injectors: http://forums.maxima.org/supercharge...injectors.html Cheap, simple, and effective. They come off a factory supercharged beast in the first place. No need to spend $4-800 on injectors.

Like i said before i am running everything stock, no blower, injectors, ecu, maf, except 400 walbro and fuel return line,it seems i have an electrical problem my injectors stay firing when engine cuts off on its own.
I had air leaks before with this maniflod then i took care of that and connected the walbro 400 directly to the battery and that fixed the red cats and the fuel pressure from droping.
This build was done on a budget with patience, majority of the parts came off of forums.about 80% of the parts were new.
