97 Maxima
97 Maxima
.....I joined the forums in March, I bought my 97 GLE in April, I got to make one or two posts about it. Just got my new LEDs in the mail to convert my dash lights too blue......and I got t-boned and have it totaled on Sunday. My car was awesome and I am even more impressed with how it was built because it took a 40mph direct hit to the side with my wife, myself, and our two kids in it. The other guys car didn't even penetrate the passenger compartment. My kids are ok, my wife and I are pretty hurt. But that car protected us perfectly. My hat is off to Nissian!
Dang. I'm sorry to hear that. I hope you and your wife get better soon and im glad your kids are alright. I hope you were impressed by the Maxima enough to consider getting another one. They're great cars.

Sorry to hear about that, and I hope you and your wife heal soon.
Cars can be replaced, people not....
The car died to save your life. Good engineering and a larger car paid off bigtime. Tiny gas sippers would not have performed as well for you.

Glad to see your family is ok. I have been in three wrecks in my Max, rebuilt the front end twice. I feel safer in my slightly larger car than something smaller like Civics or even my wife's Mazda3. These are very well built cars. I will probably upgrade eventually to a 7th gen. but I love my 4th gen.
