Aftermarket Rims

A few months ago I replaced my stock five-stars rims with a set of 16" ICW racing rims. They look great but we noticed when we installed the rear ones that the dust cap on the rear axle gets in the way of the new rims pop on center caps! Any one else encounter this problem and what did you do? We used a screwdriver/hammer to pound in all around the edges of the dust cap so the center would pop on the wheel. Kinda barbaric but effective, I guess. Apparently, all there is behind the cap is a nut and a cotter pin.

The hammer works perfectly fine to correct your rim center cap problem.

Ditto. Hammers should be part of everyone's garage but used responsibly.
