The engine needs to be able to move more air to take advantage of a larger tb/maf. Short intake with large air filter, headers, y-pipe, cat-back, 2000-2001 Variable Intake "00VI", vafc2, then get a larger maf/tb.

3.5" MAF is useless on a stock internal 3.0.

Its just harder to get a steady idle, go with a Pathy TB.
