Just went through a 95 Maxima brochure, press release ...
Just went through the original 1995 Nissan Maxima brochure, press release, photos, etc. Also looked at the 1995 300ZX brochure too.
It's gives you a sense of renewed pride in owning a Maxima, especially when you read all the good things they had to say. I just found out my car has liquid-filled engine mounts (95 SE automagic). Then, multi-stage engine cooling, microfinishing in the engine, aluminum use, etc ... now, we don't even recognize it as an achievement!
Also went to the auto show today, flashed a corporate pass and walked right through .... I love having the right connections! Saw the GTR concept which looked sharp. Minivan was a "love it or hate it" deal. Production-level 350Z looked neat, but sadly I prefer the previous 300ZX. Call me old-fashioned I suppose. That's why Ilike the 4th gen Max over the 5th gen ... damn 5th gen looks so round, and the half-moon tailights are used by EVERYONE!!!!!! 4th gen red clears for me next week Also saw Mazda's RX8, I still prefer the RX7 better (they had one suspended on a vertical wall for display at Mazda's booth).
